How about a pleasant exploration of Donovaly with electric scooters that will save you time and energy? The first and quick tour is the Mišútsky one. We start from the valley station of the cable car to Nová hoľa, from where we will go through Zadný Kút in the direction beyond Magura to the Mišútská road. On the way we will have beautiful views of Záhradište and almost the whole Donovaly. Then we can go down to the centre and through the central car park along the pavement along the road to get back to the cable car to Nová hoľa and thus make a quick 6 km circuit, which can take about 15 minutes without a break. But we'll make it a bit longer and cross the wooden bridge next to the information centre and continue along the asphalt road until we reach the "Y" shaped junction. At this point we decide which settlement we want to see first.
Bully, the road to the right, offers us the preserved beauty of classic Donovaly architecture with verandas and pavilions, but in addition it also offers a view of the centre of Donovaly, the Zvolen hill and Nová hoľa with the top cable car station. After taking in the atmosphere of the typical construction of the time, we can return the same way back to the crossroads and go and have a look, this time on the way to the left, at Polianka. This is a newly established settlement, which hides a wooden statue of Balthasar in its centre. The hiking trail along the traces of the Špaňodolin water pipeline starts here, which is also recommended for longer walks in the Donovaly Mountains. At the point where the asphalt road ends, we turn around and follow the same route back to the centre, where we can finish our 10.5 km hike. So, what do you say.
